camp la salle 2006

hello everyone.
havent been blogging for like a week now.
so sorry..
was at camp ever since the march holidays started.

camp la salle was fun!!
like fun to the core can!!
i shall updated more about camp la salle.

sunday had meeting before it started on monday.
it was not a meeting la.
but more of like finalising everything.
thats what we would always need to do before the camp right.

day 0:Sunday 12th March 2006.

went to school to meet eugene julian and gabriel.
they had sec one legion camp before that.
had to wait for like 1 whole hour can.
never mind la.wasnt bored at all.
cuz i was in the scouts den!!
wateva for??
playing carem with shih hong(my psf) and his other freind.
then when legion camp ended
eugene called me to meet him in the canteen.
he left sji and headed for st pats.
along the way...
on the bus...
while walking...
we ate lots of chocolates!!
we were all addicted!!
we love that blue ritter sport milk chocolate.
eugene and julian had like lots of them.
they got it all for free!!
some sec one's mother brought to the legion camp.
they told me that she either owned the whole ritter sport or she bought them.
but we all concluded that either way..
she would be RICH!!!
we were late for the meeting anyways...

at the meeting we ran through what we would be doing on day one.
then we played ice breakers.
and many many more other ice breaking games.
guess wat i was the main facilitator of mission!!

after the meeting eugene jared and i went to siglap centr.
ate macs..
after dinner went to settlers.
some board games opposite katong mall.
met g2 there.
its like a place that rents our board games that are not found in singapore!!
go check it out!!
went home after that.

packed all my camp stuff and went to sleep.
cuz had to wake up early the next day
to take a bus all the way to st pats.
so far man.

day 1:monday 13th March 2006.

was in st pats at like 8am.
did all the last minute preparations for the camp.
9.30am was the registration for the camp.

day two:tuesday 14th March 2006

woke up super early for reflection at east coaast beach.
came back for breakfast.
took a camp photo.
went to ren ci hospital.
exposure for the pri 5s.
thats about it.
nothing to blog about it
except the last part of teh camp.
closing ceremony!!
saddest part of the camp.
had to like cut up the flag.
each of my group member had a part of the flag.
to signify that they were part of the camp..
and of cuz for rememberence.

although the camp has ended,
their journey has just began.

i cant wait for LLTC.

these days you often see pepole dressing in drips and draps.

Here are 15 things that are never a good idea:

1. Underwear as outerwear.
Camisoles or visible bra straps and lingerie scream "eek!" and not "chic!"

2. Workout gear.
Save your muscle shirts and spandex for the gym.

3. Soiled, stained or rumpled clothing.
Neatness counts. Better to wear less expensive clothing that is immaculately cleaned and pressed than to sport designer grunge.

4. Shorts.
Whether of the Bermuda or Daisy Duke variety, wearing shorts to work is just plain wrong.

5. Tattoos.
Celebrities like Angelina Jolie have made tattoos seem almost mainstream, but many people are still put off by them. Best to keep yours under wraps or disguised with a heavy spray-on makeup made expressly to conceal tattoos.

6. Extreme hair color.
Natural looking highlights are fine, but never dye your hair blue, magenta or other colors not found in nature.

7. Too much cologne.
A strong scent is a turnoff to most people. Best to forgo fragrance and opt for the clean smell of soap.

8. Long, fake or wild-colored nails.
Keep your nails short and neat. Avoid nail decals, black polish or "Elvira" length nails.

9. Grungy beards.
In general, most companies prefer clean-shaven men to, say, ZZ Top. If you just can't part with your facial hair, at least keep it neatly trimmed. (And for gosh-sakes check in the mirror after eating that powder-sugared doughnut!)

10. Micro-miniskirts.
Make sure there is no more than three or four inches between knee and hem. You want to be able to sit without giving a peep show.

11. Overly revealing attire.
Too little is too much. Breasts, back and arms should be covered. Avoid overly snug fits by making sure there is at least one inch of room between body and fabric.

12. Athletic socks with street shoes.
Men, the devil's in the details. People notice these things!

13. Body piercings.
Studies show that most people view body jewelry as unprofessional and that people with multiple piercings are less likely to be hired or promoted.

14. Bare midriff.
Make sure there is at least one-inch of room between body and fabric and that your shirt it is long enough to conceal your midriff. Let your clothes show off your good taste -- not your six-pack abs.

15. Low-rise pants.
"Plumber's crack" is not acceptable anywhere. Period.

Finally, as a rule of thumb: If you have any doubt whether something you have on is appropriate -- go back and change.

have been busy these few days.
and i mean busy!!
so i'm back posting again.

yay.i'm back to my place again.
back to school again tomorrow!!
house cheering competition the first thing in the morning
i dun wanna cheer..
firstly the shirt is just too small for me!!
and what?i like paid $6 for it. when i heard the lawrence house shirt was only $2.
i dunno what to say.
four dollars difference..
but never mind la.
since i'm in the house.
should just support it.
